"We came here for a weekend of relaxation and are leaving feeling quite refreshed. Overcast skies and nearly constant rain didn't dampen our spirits. We enjoyed walking through the woods and cozying up in the cabin. When the rain finally passed we ventured into Berkeley Springs for the 32nd annual Apple Butter Festival. We stocked up on apples, pumpkins, jams and of course apple butter! It was fascinating to watch the old men chirn steaming vats of butter. We also enjoyed a scenic drive around Morgan & Frederick Counties before returning to the cabin. Definitely a wonderful spot to get away from it all!!"

"Our first family vacation together in over 20yrs. The cabins were the perfect way to enjoy each others families. All the amenities provided were terrific and very much appreciated. We loved swimming in the lake and even did a little fishing and kayaking as well. Our visit to Berkeley Springs State Park and the "taking of the waters" was fantastic. For those of you that don't want a Spa treatment I highly recommend the antique browsing and a visit to the creamery for a treat. All in all we had a great time and look forward to returning to the area for another visit."

"This was our first cabin experience and what a wonderful one it was. This cabin beat all our expectations. We loved using the Master Suite upstairs and our 14 yr old daughter loved having her own room and bathroom downstairs. My husband and I celebrated our 49th (me) and 55th (him) birthdays here for peace and quiet. I especially liked being able to wash all the clothes here so that when we return home, I can just put them away. Just taking in the view from upstairs was very relaxing.
We’re already planning on booking a cabin over Thanksgiving. We have added West Virginia to our favorite get-a-way spot for the future. We’ve already got our relatives and friends interested in coming here for peace & relaxation, there’s a lot of nice places to eat & quaint shops to browse.”

This cabin is a very welcome getaway. We loved the great room upstairs and we loved the view of the woods. The little four year old kept asking if we can move here. It was a great preparation for the mountains in Colorado. The Bar – B – Que made our dinner and our Labrador loved the woods. The weather was really spectacular. It was a great surprise to see a frog on the front step in the morning. The cozy beds were great after a busy day.

Berkeley Springs Cottage Rentals is delighted to offer you pet friendly cottages so you can enjoy your vacation with your entire family (pets included). Our pet policy is listed below, there are individual cabin instructions in each cottage that will also assist you, please contact us if you have any questions:

1. All pets that are left unattended in the cottage must be tethered outside or kenneled (some cottages allow pets to be left unattended in the basement or garage areas, please see individual cottage Visitor’s Guide located at cottage).
2. Pet owners must scoop yard and place pet residue in trash bag in trash bin before departing cottage.
3. Please bring your pets' bedding, blankets, kennel and scooper (most cottages have a shovel in garage or utility room). The bedding and blankets that are located in the cottage are for our guests use only.
4. Please immediately report any pet damages or problems.
5. Please be respectful of our owners' property, we make an extended effort to offer pet friendly cottages and we appreciate our guests who also make an extended effort to ensure the cottage is left undamaged by pets.
6. Guests will be charged for any damages or extra cleaning due to pet owner negligence.
7. Thank you so much for choosing Berkeley Springs Cottage Rentals, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding our pet policy.

There are individual instructions and a Visitor's Guide in each cabin to assist you during your stay. We do ask our guests to do the following items before departing the cottage:

1. Strip all beds that were used during your stay and please leave linens next to bed that was used.
2. If laundry facility is available in cabin, please start a load of towels before departing.
3. Wash and put away all dishes before departing. If cottage has dishwasher, please ensure dishwasher is turned on before departing.
4. Ensure coffee pot is TURNED OFF before departing.
5. Place the lock box (with key) back on the outside door for our cleaning personnel.
6. Ensure all doors are locked and all windows are secured before departing.
7. Please report any damages, broken items or problems immediately.
8. We are delighted to have you as guests, but please be respectful of our owners’ property.
