Approximately 20 miles, 30 minutes Directions from Downtown Berkeley Springs: o Take 522 SOUTH towards Cacapon State Park o Continue past the stoplight for the McDonalds and Food Lion (on your right) o Continue past the Dairy Queen (on your right) o Make a LEFT onto ROUTE 13 (Route 13 is directly past the “All American Ice Cream” shop on your left) o Follow this road (Route 13) for about 15 miles § Pass Spriggs Road (left), there is a dangerous sharp curve past this road, please be careful! § Pass over two – 1 lane bridges § Continue passed Greenwood Elementary School (on your left) § Pass Packing Shed Road (on your left) o Turn LEFT onto SHANGHI ROAD (you will see a brown and white sign with a fish and shooting picture) o Follow this road (Shanghi Road) up to the top of the mountain, it’s quite a scenic drive o Continue past the public shooting range o You will see the lake near the base of the mountain |

Approximately 11 miles, 15 minutes Directions from Downtown Berkeley Springs o Continue thru the stoplight, you will see a Sheetz Gas Station on your RIGHT. o Continue thru the next stoplight, the County Court House is on your RIGHT and The Berkeley Springs State Park is on your left. There is a museum at the park that tells the history of Berkeley Springs and the famous people who used to frequently visit our Warm Springs. You can also enjoy the refreshing warm springs that run through the park. o At the next STOPLIGHT, Make a LEFT onto HIGHWAY 9 WEST towards GREAT CACAPON. (At the fourth stoplight in Berkeley Springs, you should see a Dollar General Store and a 7-Eleven Store on your left at the stoplight; make a left onto this road, its highway 9 West). o Stay on HIGHWAY 9 WEST through the Town of GREAT CACAPON. After driving for about 5 miles you will come to a road side view called the Panoramic View; also the Panorama Restaurant is very good! o Continue down the hill into the town of Great Cacapon. o Make a LEFT TURN directly after Doris’s Deli onto ROCKFORD ROAD. ROCKFORD ROAD is PAST the second church on your left, there is a green street sign labeled ROCKFORD ROAD. o Proceed on ROCKFORD ROAD for about 3.5 miles and go across the one lane low water bridge. o This is a public stream access area, please park where you can find available parking |

47 Miles / 1 Hour Turn at the stoplight at the Sheetz Gas Station Take ROUTE 9 EAST towards MARTINSBURG Take Interstate 81 SOUTH Take EXIT 12 Make a LEFT onto WV-45 EAST / ROUTE 9 EAST at the bottom of the exit ramp Take 340 NORTH towards HARPERS FERRY Continue on 340 North towards Harpers Ferry. Go 3 7/10 miles on US 340 north. Turn right onto Millville Road. Once on Millville Road, go three-tenths of one mile and make a sharp left turn onto Alstadts Hill Road. There is also a small blue "River Riders" sign. Follow this road to the last building on the right. |
